Bio
Velvet Suns is a high energy rock band based out of Eastern Iowa and Northern Missouri. Benji and Chase whom are both cousins formed Everything Mixed Up in 2019 and had been playing the bar scene for several years. In 2024 Benji re-connected with cousin Melissa at one of her solo shows since her long time Nashville, TN band Orchard Fire disbanded. They decided to form a band together and set a date for an unannounced rehearsal at an establishment Chase’s cousin owned in southern Iowa. Word got around and before long the place was packed and the rehearsal turned into a full show to a crowd that was standing room only. Thereafter they have filled venues and commanded the attention of audiences with their charismatic persona and stage presence at every show since inception.
